The story behind Broadwindsor Fun Day
Back in 2002, a group of people in the village got together to organise a street party for the Queen’s Silver Jubilee.
The event was a huge success. The Broadwindsor Fun Day was born. Since then, there have been annual fun weekends on Bernards’ Place – the village green – or in the street. During the year, there are also other events, such as coffee mornings and quizzes, to help pay for the big day in the summer.
Any money left over is distributed to local groups.
