Lee Israel is a frustrated, hard drinking author who can barely afford to pay her rent or bills in 1990s New York. Desperate for money, Israel soon hatches a scheme to forge letters by famous writers and sell them to bookstores and collectors. When the dealers start to catch on, Lee recruits a dubious friend to help her continue her self-destructive cycle of trickery and deceit.

DON SHIRLEY, A WORLD CLASS BLACK PIANIST, ON A CONCERT TOUR FROM MANHATTAN TO THE DEEP SOUTH IN 1962, THEY MUST RELY ON “THE GREEN BOOK” TO GUIDE THEM TO THE FEW ESTABLISHMENTS THAT WERE THEN SAFE FOR AFRICAN – AMERICANS. Set in 1892, Hostiles tells the story of a legendary army captain, who after stern resistance, agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to the tribal lands. Making the perilous and harrowing journey from Fort Berringer in Mew mexico, to the grasslands of Montana, the former rivals encounter a young widow whose family was murdered on the plains. Together, they must join forces to overcome the punishing landscape, hostile Comanche and vicious outliers that they encounter along the way.
