Combining tabor pipe, double bass and guitar with the accordion and violin, Faith i Branko take audiences on a journey from melancholy Roma laments to storming “kolos” and explorations into jazz, swing,Gypsy, rumba. Turkish and Indian influenced songs. Faith i Branko guarantee a sensational, authentic night of music. Expect a joyous, passionate, boisterous, fiery and spirited performance.

Caddy family gathering draws in relatives worldwide

Thirty-four descendants (including husbands and wives) of John and Elizabeth Caddy, who lived in Burstock during the first part of the eighteenth century, assembled at the Comrades Hall last month.
Fifteen of the contingent came from Glamorgan, six from Utah and five from Australia.  There were even two from Dorset!
