Planning consent sought for 32 homes

Posted on Updated on

Planning consent is being sought for 32 homes in Broadwindsor.

The new estate – if it goes ahead – would be on two fields south of Fullers.

The applicants are Whyte and Finlay and their agents are Taylor-Wilkinson Ltd of Seaton.

The design and access statement states: “It is envisaged that the dwellings would be two storeys high and traditionally designed to reflect and respect the character and appearance of the existing housing, particularly that of the housing along Redlands Lane. There would be a mix of housing sizes ranging from two to four bedrooms and adequate provision would be made for landscaping within the site and provision made for car parking.

“Local need housing would be provided on site at the required level of 35% of total housing numbers.”
